T.T.C Buses Crash Into Each Other – 14 Injured (including Driver)

Two Toronto Transit Commission Buses were involved in a head-on crash at the Wilson subway station at approximately 11:00 a.m. earlied this morning.

The collsion was so intense, that it resulted in fourteen (14) people (out of the 31 on both buses combined) being sent to the hospital, including one of the bus operators.

The collision took place in the T.T.C tunnel, on the property of the Wilson subway station.

It is unlikely that the police will lay any charges, given that the crash occurred on the T.T.C property (considered private property).

T.T.C officials are reviewing the video footage of both buses involved in the collision, as part of the ongoing investigation.

It is suspected that one of the drivers veered off of the designated path, into the path of the other bus.  Speed may have been an issue.
