Skeletons Used By New York as a Speed Deterrent

New Yorkers and visitors to New York this summer will observe new signs that are intended to convey a potent message “speed kills”.

If anyone travels in excess of the speed limit of thirty (30) miles per hour, then the skeleton sign will pop up.

The mayor of New York believes that it is an effective idea.

Speed Limit is 30 m.p.h
If you speed in excess of 30 m.p.h, then this skeleton sign is activated. The mayor wants to promote pedestrian safety; the city plans to introduce LED warning signs that feature a skeletal figure and warn drivers of the speed limit their vehicles are travelling.
