Bixi seat has ten (10) settings on the level of the bike seat

The company that owns Bixi, Public Bike System, was ranked 19th in TIME’s 50 Best Inventions of 2008.

Bixi was recently launced in Toronto on May 3, 2011.  Today, a driver, whose vehicle came from the road up onto the sidewalk, drove into the award winning bikes that were parked in the Bixi bike dock.

The Lexus sedan that mounted the curb, ran into a bike dock that was only installed on May 6, 2011 at the Bixi station at Bay & Queen Street.

The motor vehicle was able to run into six (6) Bixi bikes, which all sustained damage as a result.
